Head of Projects / Project Manager – Construction (Client-Side / Developer)Location: UAESalary: Competitive (Based on experience)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Construction to join a leading real estate developer. This role is client-side and will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of real estate and infrastructure projects, ensuring successful execution from concept through to handover.The ideal candidate will bring a strong balance of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management, with proven experience working on large-scale developments.Key ResponsibilitiesProject DeliveryLead full project lifecycle: planning, design, procurement, construction, and handoverEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standardsManage multiple projects or large-scale developments simultaneouslyDesign & Technical CoordinationReview and coordinateArchitectural, structural, and MEP drawingsEnsure alignment between consultants, contractors, and internal teamsDrive value engineering and design optimizationContract & Commercial ManagementOversee preparation and review ofBOQs, tenders, and contract documentationManage contractor procurement, evaluation, and appointmentAdminister contracts (preferably FIDIC-based) and manage variations/claimsProject Controls & Cost ManagementDevelop and monitorBudgets and cost forecastsTrack progress and implement corrective actions where requiredEnsure robust project controls and reporting frameworks are in placeStakeholder ManagementAct as the key interface betweenInternal leadershipConsultantsContractorsRegulatory authoritiesProvide regular progress reports to senior managementIdentify and mitigate project risksEnsure compliance with:Local regulationsHealth & safety standardsCompany governance frameworksLead and coordinate project teams, including engineers and consultantsDrive performance, accountability, and delivery excellenceRequirementsExperience8–12+ years of experience in:Construction project managementEducationCivil EngineeringConstruction ManagementArchitecture or related fieldCertifications (Preferred)PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalentStrong knowledge of FIDIC contractsTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of:Contracts and procurementCost control and planning tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)Solid knowledge of MEP systems and construction methodologiesOther RequirementsExperience working in the UAE and/or KSAArabic language skills are an advantageAbility to work in a client-facing, on-site environmentStrong commercial and contractual awarenessExcellent stakeholder and communication skillsHands-on, solution-oriented approachAbility to manage complexity across multiple projects and teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
