Logistics Manager

Develop and implement project-specific logistics strategies and plans to optimize the movement of resources.Manage the flow of materials, tools, and heavy equipment, including monitoring inventory levels, procurement, and storage.Work with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources to the construction site.Coordinate the movement of people and equipment on-site and oversee site facilities management.Monitor and adjust delivery schedules to meet construction timelines and identify and resolve lead-time constraints.Manage budgets, analyze costs, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.Develop and implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, codes, and standards.Supervise logistics staff, collaborate with project managers and other team members, and maintain good stakeholder relationships.Identify and resolve logistical challenges and delays proactively.Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on logistics activities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
