In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the entire IT applications portfolio, driving digital transformation initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational business objectives. You will manage a talented team of IT professionals while optimizing application performance, managing vendor relationships, and implementing innovative technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency across the organization.Develop and execute a comprehensive IT applications strategy that aligns with organizational goals and supports business growth initiativesLead, mentor, and manage a team of applications professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellenceOversee the full lifecycle of enterprise applications, including planning, implementation, maintenance, and optimizationAnalyze current application portfolio and identify opportunities for modernization, consolidation, and cost optimizationManage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal service delivery and value for moneyEstablish and enforce IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards for application development and deploymentDirect digital transformation projects and ensure successful adoption of new technologies across the organizationMonitor application performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and user satisfactionPrepare and manage IT applications budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost controlCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutionsStay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantageWhat do we need from youRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in IT applications management and enterprise systemsMinimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience managing IT teams and departmentsProven expertise in enterprise application portfolio management and IT service deliveryStrong knowledge of ERP systems, CRM platforms, and cloud‑based technologiesDemonstrated experience with digital transformation initiatives and organizational change managementExcellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make data‑driven decisionsStrong project management capabilities with experience delivering complex IT initiativesExceptional communication and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in IT governance frameworks and best practicesPreferred QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) or ITIL certificationExperience with IT financial management and budget optimizationKnowledge of cybersecurity principles and application security best practicesFamiliarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practicesExperience in a multinational or global organizationBackground in business process optimization and systems integrationWhat's in it for you?#J-18808-Ljbffr
