Head of Islamic Finance

<div><p>Leading Banking organisation seeks Head of Islamic Finance to undertake a new position within the SME&Islamic Banking division. Reporting directly to the Head of SME&IB, you will undertake complete responsibility for:</p><ul><li>Developing, launching and managing the entire Islamic assets and liability products for all Corporate, SME&Retail Banking segments</li><li>Developing and implementing marketing policies and strategies to meet organisational objectives</li><li>Evaluating market conditions, competitor data and implementing marketing plans and projects (new and existing)</li><li>Overseeing and executing marketing, advertising and promotional activities</li><li>Actively developing a 1-2 year strategy and sales plan for product development</li><li>Team management</li></ul><p>The incumbent will currently be working within a reputable banking organisation in UAE or broader MENA region with a minimum of 10 years extensive experience in Product Management, with ideally 5 years in an Islamic institution</p><p>Bachelor degree in Marketing, Finance or Commerce</p><p>Shari’a certified</p><p>Proven ability to manage and understand risk</p><p>Experience of developing products and marketing plans for Islamic Banking products and/or segments</p><p>Strong understanding of profitability drivers and market development across the various life cycle stages</p><p>Extensive knowledge of Islamic Financing structures adopted by Corporate, SME&Retail Banking</p><p>Fluent English.
