We power possibilities for our customers and each other by bringing the best talent together to do the best quality work we can.The RoleWe’re hiring a hands-on Group Chief Accountant to oversee accounting operations, lead a team of Group Lead Accountants, and transform our finance systems through automation and digitization. You will act as the primary point of contact for auditors, advisors, and senior finance leadership, with full ownership over financial governance, reporting accuracy, and compliance across jurisdictions.What you will doGroup-Level Financial ManagementOversee all core accounting operations: A/R, A/P, GL, inventory, and revenue recognitionLead and align Group Lead Accountants across NymCard’s legal entitiesEnsure consistent application of accounting standards and internal policiesCoordinate budgets, forecasts, and management reporting with FP&APrepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statementsEnsure regulatory compliance across jurisdictionsProcess Improvement & AutomationTransform manual processes into scalable, automated workflowsIdentify and implement accounting best practicesCollaborate with Data, Tech, Product, and Ops to build integrated, API-first solutionsAdopt AI tools for reconciliation, reporting, and transaction processingAudit, Controls & ComplianceServe as the primary contact for external auditors and advisorsLead audit readiness and deliver timely, clean auditsMaintain internal control frameworks and ensure IFRS/local complianceDefine and enforce accounting policies and risk mitigation proceduresTeam Leadership & DevelopmentManage and mentor accounting team members across entitiesDrive a performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvementDefine KPIs, assess team performance, and lead development plansImplement training programs to enhance team capability and efficiencyWhat You’ll Bring10+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with 3+ years in a group-level leadership roleCPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualificationDeep knowledge of IFRS, audit management, and financial reporting in multi-entity environmentsExperience in fintech, payments, or financial services is a strong advantageSkilled in ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAPStrong interest in automation, digital transformation, and AI in financeConfident communicator able to engage with senior leadership, auditors, and regulators#J-18808-Ljbffr
