Graphic designer

Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.Plans concept by studying information and materials.Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment.Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Works with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales.Develops concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites.Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size.Prepares rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.Reviews final layouts and suggests improvements if required.Designs as per client demands and requests.Performs any other relevant duties assigned by Head of Design.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Design / Diploma in Graphic Designing.Minimum 5 year experience in Printing Industry.Animation Certification, Graphic Design Certification.Excellent reading and oral communication skills in English.IT skills, Design Packages & Digital Media.
