Graduate Mechanical Electrical Engineer Site (UAE National)

OverviewEgis is seeking a Graduate Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (UAE National) to join our site-based project team in Abu Dhabi. This role offers an excellent opportunity for Emirati graduates to gain hands-on experience on large-scale infrastructure and building projects while developing technical professional and site coordination skills under the guidance of experienced engineers.ResponsibilitiesSupport site engineers in the supervision and execution of mechanical or electrical works in accordance with project specifications and drawingsAssist with site inspections monitoring contractor activities and ensuring compliance with approved plans, standards, and safety requirementsReview shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals with senior engineersCoordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth site operationsAttend site meetings and assist with the preparation of progress reports and technical documentationSupport testing, commissioning, and handover activitiesEnsure adherence to HSE policies, quality standards, and local authority regulationsPerform other site-related engineering tasks as required to support project deliveryQualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited universityExperienceFresh graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience (internships or site training considered an advantage)Skills & CompetenciesBasic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems in buildings or infrastructure projectsStrong willingness to learn and work in a site-based environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to follow instructions and work under supervisionProficient in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantageGood command of EnglishAdditional InformationWhat Egis OffersStructured graduate development and on-the-job trainingExposure to complex and high-profile projects in Abu DhabiSupportive multicultural work environmentCareer growth opportunities within Egis locally and internationallyCompetitive salary and benefits aligned with UAE National programsRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
