Site -Inspector - Landscape

Job DescriptionLandscape Inspector shall work under the direct supervision of Resident Engineer at designated site and perform the following functions, but not limited to:Perform site inspections for landscape O&M activities, including softscape, irrigation, and hardscape maintenance works.Monitor Contractor performance against approved maintenance standards, KPIs, and contract requirements.Ensure proper implementation of irrigation schedules, water efficiency measures, and system operation (controllers, valves, pressure, coverage).Inspect plant condition and ensure proper maintenance practices including pruning, fertilization, pest control, and replacement of dead or stressed plants.Identify defects such as irrigation failures, plant decline, and poor maintenance practices, and follow up corrective actions.Review Contractor submissions related to O&M activities such as method statements, maintenance schedules, and reports, in addition to MIR/WIR where applicable.Conduct routine inspections and report site observations, non-compliances, and performance issues to the Resident Engineer.Issue and follow up on Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) and site instructions for corrective actions.Monitor and record site activities, including maintenance operations, resource deployment, and performance trends.Ensure compliance with HSE, QA/QC, and environmental/sustainability requirements, including water conservation and efficient resource use.Prepare snag lists and follow up on rectification during maintenance and defect liability periods.Provide technical input and site‑based solutions related to landscape maintenance and operational challenges.Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure proper execution of O&M activities across the site.Perform other duties as assigned by the Resident Engineer or management.Job RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, Horticulture, or related fieldMinimum 5–8 years experience in landscape O&M works (UAE/GCC preferred)Strong knowledge of:Landscape maintenance (softscape & hardscape)Irrigation systems – controllers, valves, scheduling, troubleshootingPlant identification, plant health, and seasonal plantingProven experience in inspection/supervision of landscape O&M contractsFamiliar with:Maintenance standards and KPIsInspection procedures, snagging, and reportingBasic knowledge of sustainability practices:Water conservationEfficient irrigation use#J-18808-Ljbffr
