Job PurposeThe Governance Specialist is responsible for establishing, managing, and monitoring internal policies, standards, and compliance frameworks to mitigate risks and ensure alignment with labor laws and organizational objectives. The role serves as a subject matter expert, overseeing policy lifecycles, conducting audits, and advising stakeholders on regulatory requirements.Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Policy ManagementDevelop, review, and maintain internal policies and guidelines.Ensure clear documentation and proper version control of policies.Drive adherence to internal controls and governance frameworks.2. Compliance & Risk ManagementMonitor changes in employment laws and regulatory requirements.Manage regulatory inquiries and ensure timely responses.Conduct internal audits to assess compliance levels.Identify and mitigate risks related to data privacy and employee relations.3. Process ImprovementReview and enhance processes for efficiency and compliance.Identify opportunities for automation and standardization.Map controls across the employee lifecycle to ensure governance coverage.4. Stakeholder AdvisoryProvide expert guidance to management and internal teams on governance matters.Advise on labor regulations, compliance risks, and ethical standards.Support decision-making through policy interpretation and risk assessment.5. Authorization MatricesDesign, implement, and maintain Authorization Matrices (Delegation of Authority / Approval Workflows).Ensure alignment with organizational structure and governance standards.Job RequirementsEducational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.Work Experience3–6+ years of experience in governance, policy management, or compliance.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).In-depth knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and local market practices.Behavioral CompetenciesRegulatory CompliancePolicy DevelopmentRisk ManagementData Governance & PrivacyAuditingEthical LeadershipStakeholder ManagementStrategic AlignmentSystems ThinkingLanguage RequirementsArabic: Native proficiencyEnglish: Excellent (reading, writing, and speaking)#J-18808-Ljbffr
