The successful candidate will be responsible for processing, analyzing, and presenting geographic information to support decision-making processes in urban infrastructure management.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess, analyze, present, and extract information about specific locations using GIS technologiesWork with cutting-edge technologies and methods in geospatial analysisStudy and analyze information system needs for the projectPrepare detailed technical work reportsDesign initial models for reports and implement modifications as neededCollect and manage complete applications related to road maintenance, flood control, and storm managementGather geographic elements and information related to road assetsLink databases with GIS programs to create comprehensive geospatial solutionsCreate maps and visual representations of geographical dataCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data into broader project strategiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience for Saudi nationals, 10 years for non-Saudi nationalsExtensive experience in linking databases with GIS programsProficiency in GIS software, particularly GeoMedia and ArcGISMinimum of 5 years of experience in operating GIS programs and creating mapsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken)Saudi Nationals preferredPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in GIS or a related fieldExperience working on municipal or government projectsFamiliarity with Saudi Arabian geography and urban development practicesCertifications in relevant GIS technologies (e.g., ESRI certifications)Required SkillsAdvanced knowledge of GIS principles, practices, and technologiesExpertise in spatial analysis and cartographyProficiency in database management and SQLStrong programming skills, preferably in Python or RFamiliarity with remote sensing and image processing techniquesExperience with CAD software and data conversion between CAD and GISKnowledge of urban planning and infrastructure management principles#J-18808-Ljbffr
