Footwear Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Footwear Designer to lead the design and development of men's footwear collections. The role requires strong expertise in CAD design, trend forecasting, and end-to-end product development within a fast-paced retail environment.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop innovative men's footwear collections aligned with brand identity and seasonal trendsCreate detailed CAD sketches and technical drawings for product developmentConduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging styles, materials, and colorsCollaborate closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and timely deliveryDevelop mood boards, concepts, and color palettes for each seasonSelect and source appropriate materials, trims, and componentsWork with vendors and manufacturers to ensure design accuracy and quality standardsOversee product lifecycle from concept to final productionEnsure all designs meet commercial viability, cost targets, and brand positioningKey Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, or related field3–6 years of experience in footwear design, preferably within a retail or apparel brandStrong proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)Solid understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processesStrong sense of fashion trends, color theory, and consumer preferencesExperience in men's footwear (casual, formal, sports, or lifestyle categories)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
