The successful candidate will support cost management and financial reporting across hotel operations, ensuring accurate recording of costs, timely reporting, and effective collaboration with operational teams to drive efficiency and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesControls and records the flow of goods between Food and Beverage outlets as well as issuing from stores to user departments.Checks the receiving voucher against the supplier’s invoice and purchase order for accuracy.Ensures supplier tax invoices are compliant with the FTA guidelines.Produces daily food flash cost of sales reports.Ensures the 10‑day, 20‑day and monthly food & beverage stock counts are performed as per company policy and procedures.Costs all recipes before implementing a new dish on a menu to ensure right pricing.Analyzes the monthly sales statistics highlighting slow‑moving items to the responsible head of department.Analyzes outlet activity monthly, including revenue, cost of sales and productivity.Prepares the month‑end closing reports for food, beverage and tobacco general stock and operating supplies.Oversees the management of hotel stores and ensures stockholding is in line with business levels.Performs adhoc analysis and restaurant spot checks.Person Specification – Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in F&B cost control, financial reporting or accounting roles within hospitality or a related sector preferred.Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Good knowledge of budgeting, variance analysis and inventory valuation methods.Proficient in Excel and comfortable using accounting or hotel property management systems; experience with Sun Systems and/or finance systems advantageous.Effective communication skills; able to present financial information clearly to non‑financial colleagues.Organised, able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Qualifications and TrainingBasic knowledge of financial management, budgets and cost controls, along with sound MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook).Relevant accounting or finance qualification.Experience with or training in inventory control, stocktaking procedures and cost accounting is advantageous.Full on‑the‑job training will be provided on company systems, internal procedures and reporting standards.A finance‑related tertiary qualification will be advantageous.How to ApplyPlease submit a CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and availability.
