Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

Job PurposeTo ensure the effective maintenance servicing and repair of the company's rental fleet to guarantee vehicle safety reliability and optimal condition at all times. This role is critical to maintaining the overall health of the fleet minimizing downtime and supporting a seamless rental experience for customers.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule periodic servicing and maintenance of all fleet vehicles.Ensure oil changes tire rotations brake inspections and other routine maintenance are carried out on time.Diagnose vehicle issues and coordinate necessary repairs.Liaise with internal technicians and external workshops to complete repairs promptly.Follow up to ensure quality and timely completion of all jobs.Maintain accurate maintenance logs service history and repair records for each vehicle.Generate regular reports on vehicle condition service schedules and expenses.Conduct routine inspections to assess vehicle conditions and ensure roadworthiness.Identify any potential issues before they become major problems.Monitor maintenance expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.Manage relationships with service providers and parts suppliers.Negotiate rates review quotations and ensure cost-effective solutions.Ensure all vehicles comply with local regulations insurance requirements and safety standards.Oversee timely registration renewals emission tests and any other regulatory obligations.Coordinate closely with the rental operations team to ensure vehicle availability.Provide timely updates on vehicle status and readiness for deployment.Qualifications & ExperienceProven experience in fleet maintenance automotive repair or a similar role.Technical certification or diploma in automobile engineering or related field preferred.Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.Ability to manage multiple service schedules and workshop coordination.Proficient in using fleet management or maintenance tracking systems.Good communication and organizational skills.Valid UAE drivers license.#J-18808-Ljbffr
