Field engineer (bridges) – night shift role

OverviewField Engineer (Bridge/structures) will be responsible for monitoring of Bridge/structural activities at the Project Site; to witness quality assurance procedures are being followed and implemented by SC and Main Contractor as per the PMP, and to monitor the project progress as per approved work programme in accordance with QCS and Lusail specifications and enable QPM to deliver quality Project within the plan and budget.Assist the Senior Structural Engineer and Construction Manager, dealing with issues associated with Bridge/ structural Engineering works.Ensure that construction work complies with the PMP, Lusail Specifications and instructions.Review and comment on technical submittals such as Method Statements, Material Approvals, , As-Built Drawings, etc.Liaise with Supervision Consultant and the Main Contractor to help manage the project and propose solutions to technical issues.Monitor and supervise onsite bridge/structural engineering activities for conformance with the provisions of the Contract specifications and Project Requirements.Confer with Supervision Consultant and the Main Contractor to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree is required.This is a role which requires a strong proven experience of at least 8 years within project management of Bridge structures.About The CompanyQatar Project Management (QPM) is an independent subsidiary of Barwa Real Estate Development Company that provides expertise in Project Management, Design Management, Construction Management, and Contract Administration together with other associated Project Management functions.
