People who think differently and connect with those around them to co-create new opportunities and leave a meaningful legacy.About the roleZutari Middle East is looking for a Façade Access and Maintenance Designer to support the design and coordination of safe, compliant, and efficient façade access and maintenance systems for high-rise and complex buildings across Dubai and the wider UAE.You’ll work closely with our architectural and façade engineering teams to develop integrated access solutions that meet client operational needs, align with local regulations, and comply with relevant international standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop façade access and maintenance designs and documentation across all stages: concept, design development, tender, and construction.Coordinate with architecture, structural, façade, and MEP disciplines to ensure full integration (including spatial allowances, interfaces, and buildability).Ensure designs comply with Dubai Municipality requirements and applicable OSHAD requirements (where relevant), plus EN/BS/ISO standards.Produce façade access strategies, risk assessments, and maintenance methodology reports aligned with safe-by-design principles.Review contractor shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, and method statements for compliance and constructability.Support the wider façade engineering team to resolve access-related design issues and site queries (RFIs).Attend client meetings, coordination workshops, and design reviews to communicate design intent and constraints clearly.Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning/handovers (as required).Contribute to value engineering, system optimisation, and lifecycle (OPEX/CAPEX) considerations.RequirementsDegree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.Strong knowledge of BMU systems and façade cleaning/maintenance approaches for high-rise assets.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM coordination experience preferred).Working familiarity with local and international codes/standards relevant to façade access and high-rise practice (Dubai Municipality, EN/BS/ISO, and OSHAD where applicable).Strong coordination skills and the ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors.We believe that a diverse work force is key to our business success.
