Engineer - Design Wet Utilities (AL Ain)We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer – Design Wet Utilities to join our team in AL Ain. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems for various projects in the region.ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive designs for wet utilities systems, including water distribution networks, sewage collection systems, and stormwater management facilitiesPerform hydraulic calculations and modeling to ensure optimal system performance and efficiencyCreate detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports using CAD softwareCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate wet utilities designs with other project componentsEnsure compliance with local and international design standards, regulations, and environmental requirementsConduct site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor project progressProvide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and draftersParticipate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and design solutionsManage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and quality standardsStay updated on industry trends, innovative technologies, and best practices in wet utilities designQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in wet utilities design, focused on water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systemsProficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for creating detailed technical drawingsExperience with hydraulic modeling software for system analysis and optimizationStrong knowledge of local and international wet utilities design standards and regulationsUnderstanding of environmental impact assessments related to wet utilities projectsExcellent project management skills, including the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resourcesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and data analysisStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills to address complex engineering challengesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and clientsAbility to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural environmentWillingness to travel to project sites within the United Arab Emirates as neededAdditional InformationAs an Equal Opportunity Employer, we believe in your potential and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
