ELK Developer & Administrator (Elastic Stack)

Key ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a skilled ELK Developer & Administrator with strong expertise in Elasticsearch (v8.0+). This is a hybrid role with a primary focus on Development (70%) and Administration (30%).The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Elastic architecture, log management, cluster support, and cloud-native deployments, along with the ability to design scalable, high-performance Elastic environments.Development (70%)Design, develop, and optimize Elasticsearch-based solutions (v8.0+)Implement and manage Logstash pipelines for log ingestion and transformationBuild advanced Kibana dashboards and visualizationsConfigure and manage Index Lifecycle Management (ILM) policiesImplement scalable log management frameworks across applications and microservicesIntegrate APM solutions for performance monitoringOptimize search performance, indexing strategies, and cluster architectureAdministration (30%)Manage and maintain Elastic clusters in production environmentsMonitor cluster health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure high availabilitySupport on-call rosters and production issue resolutionDeploy and manage Elastic infrastructure in AWS environmentsWork with Kubernetes (K8s) for containerized Elastic deploymentsHandle upgrades, scaling, backups, and disaster recovery strategiesRequired Technical SkillsElasticsearch (v8.0 or above) - Strong hands-on experience in both Development & AdministrationLogstash - Advanced pipeline development and log parsingKibana - Dashboard creation and visualization expertiseIndex Lifecycle Management (ILM)AWS (Cloud-native experience required)Kubernetes (K8s) - Managing Elastic clusters in containerized environmentsExperience managing Elastic Servers in productionDomain Expertise (Mandatory Experience With)Network LogsSecurity LogsApplication LogsApplication Performance Monitoring (APM)Microservices architecture loggingPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Elasticsearch AI/ML capabilitiesVector SearchMachine Learning integrationsStrong architectural mindset with experience designing scalable Elastic clustersExperience in high-availability and distributed system environmentsWhat We're Looking ForStrong problem-solving skillsExperience in production-grade environmentsAbility to handle both development and operational responsibilitiesClear understanding of Elastic stack architecture best practices#J-18808-Ljbffr
