We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman to create, revise, and finalize electrical shop drawings and designs to support our projects and secure authority approvals.Job SummaryThe Electrical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical shop drawings, load schedules, and design documentation using AutoCAD and other electrical design tools. The role requires expertise in creating compliant drawings per local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEWA) and ensuring accuracy for project execution and approval processes.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and DocumentationDevelop electrical shop drawings, layouts, and schematics for projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.Design load schedules and perform load calculations to meet project requirements.Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), circuit diagrams, and as-built drawings.Compliance and ApprovalsEnsure all electrical designs comply with local authority standards (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEWA).Assist in preparing drawings and documentation required for obtaining authority approvals.Collaboration and CoordinationCollaborate with project engineers and site teams to gather input for accurate designs.Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to address design-related queries.Quality AssuranceReview and revise electrical drawings to eliminate errors and ensure compliance.Maintain accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and design changes.QualificationsEducation and ExperienceDiploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in preparing electrical shop drawings and designs.Technical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design tools.Strong knowledge of UAE and KSA authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEWA).Experience in preparing load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and electrical layouts.Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Effective communication and collaboration abilities.Competitive Salary: Based on experience and market standards.Annual Leave: Paid time off and public holidays as per labor laws.Professional Development: Opportunities for training and certifications.Collaborative Environment: Work with a supportive and motivated team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
