DevOps Engineer (UAEN)

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join their growing technology team. This role will play a critical part in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high‑performing infrastructure. You will work closely with development and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery pipelines and reliable production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processesBuild and manage scalable infrastructure supporting modern applications, including AI‑driven systemsAutomate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormationOptimize cloud and on‑premise environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiencyManage and enhance real‑time data streaming and queuing systemsMonitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availabilityImplement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)Establish monitoring for both system performance and application‑level metricsConduct root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement of system reliabilityCollaborate cross‑functionally to ensure smooth deployment of new featuresPromote best practices in architecture, security, and performance optimizationParticipate in an on‑call rotation to support production systemsEnsure compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001)Manage secrets and credentials securely using tools like Vault or cloud‑native solutionsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or GoHands‑on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or CircleCIFamiliarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana)Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls)Exposure to real‑time data processing architecturesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or PulumiKnowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)Familiarity with database scaling and administration (SQL, NoSQL, Vector databases)Experience working in high‑traffic or production‑critical environmentsWork LocationAbu Dhabi#J-18808-Ljbffr
