Job Description

We are actively seeking to appoint an experienced Deputy Project Director to join our leading Sports Facilities Management company based in Doha, Qatar.Pleasedo notapply if you doNOTmeet the essential criteria for this roleResponsibilities:Leading the project and in charge of overall Facility Operations, Hard and Soft services.Ensure the KPIs of the contract are met at a minimum.To deliver high quality, prompt, and courteous Facilities Management services in support of customers’ business needs in a safe working environmentTo liaise with the customer’s representative regarding all matters outside of agreed delegated levels of authorityTo provide training, management, and guidance to directly employed staff in accordance with the contract and work within the guidelines of the client’s and company’sLead and oversee the Operations team to manage daily facilities operations including building operation team, security services, Housekeeping, Landscaping, Pest Control, Turf Management, System optimization, project implementation, and building utility support to ensure smooth and safe operation of the building facilitySupport the implementation of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) related activities and programsTo maintain and ensure the building and infrastructures are compliant with specifications and standardsManaging, planning, budgeting, and financial management related to building operation and maintenanceConstant review and update of manpower needs for the OperationsTo meet KPI requirements set by managementManagement of staff, vendors, and suppliesEnsure that daily information updated on the CAFM systemSuccessful completion of scheduled activities. Prompt and courteous response to customer requestsMaintenance and update of the management budget, equipment, and materialsConduct regular service and systems auditGuide and upgrade staff technical and management competencyPrepare site standard operating procedures (SOPs)Generate, collate, and submission of monthly reportsOversee the submission of claimsConduct and review plant operation, emergency plan, and contingency planConduct daily operation pass-down meetings and update staff on major works, project activities, or organization goals as requiredManage expenditure against budget in coordination with the commercial teamTraining and development of staffProvide effective technical advice and solutions to clientIntroduce continued improvement and optimization operation of Facility systemsEnforces and adopts safety measures among all of his subordinatesTo assist in the Planning, coordinating, and controlling all operational activities in accordance with pre-arranged operating plans and programs.Assist in the Operational execution according to the Contract Documents.Preferred Qualifications:B. Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, HVAC).Additional business-related qualifications would be advantageousMinimum of 20 years working experience with at least 15 years in a direct Facilities Management roleExperience working for a regionally recognised Facilities Management agent is a MUSTStrong leadership skillsSolid Contracts management capabilitiesInterpersonal, initiative, analytical thinking, decision-making, and leadership abilities.Perfect command of spoken and written EnglishGood knowledge of ISO standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 45001Deputy Project DirectorDo you want towork with us?If you are a dynamic individual interested in joining our team and contributing to the creation of memorable and technologically advanced experiences, kindly forward your resume to recruitment@mosanada.qa
