Deputy Procurement Manager

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team based in Dubai and oversee the procurement operation of the United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies managing supplier relationships and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of services plant and material.Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectivesLead and mentor a team of procurement professionals fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environmentAnalyze market trends supplier performance and spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunitiesNegotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditionsImplement and maintain procurement policies procedures and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their procurement needsManage the entire procurement lifecycle from requisition to paymentConduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and vendorsMitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and risk management strategiesUtilize procurement software and ERP systems to streamline processes and improve efficiencyStay informed about industry trends regulations and best practices in procurementPrepare and present procurement performance reports to senior managementQualifications : Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or a related fieldMinimum of 15 years of experience in procurement preferably in major infrastructure or transportation projectsIn-depth knowledge of procurement strategies processes and best practicesStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a teamExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor managementProficiency in procurement software and ERP systemsStrong decision-making abilities and capacity to analyze complex situationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder managementKnowledge of international trade regulations and practicesExperience in metro or mass transit projects is highly desirableAbility to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple prioritiesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPointRemote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Edp,Leasing,Account Development,Corporate Risk Management,Chemical Engineering,Manual Testing Experience: years Vacancy: 1
