Job Description

Ensuring quality consistency in the preparing cooking and serving of all food according to hotel recipes and standardsComplete daily checks of all mis en place in accordance with quality standardsContinually strive to improve food preparation and presentationMaintaining current knowledge of all menu items dailyspecials and promotionsMaintainingproper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilageAssisting with intake and storage of deliveriesEnsuring all kitchen Colleagues are aware of standards and expectationsActively participate in daily shift briefings; share ideas opinions and suggestionsCommunicating daily with colleagues regarding guest feedbackConsistently improving knowledge and skills by assisting senior chefsAssisting with training and mentoring junior chefsMaintaining superior hygiene health and safety standards.
