Customs Clearance Officer

<div><p>Responsible for managing and executing all customs clearance activities for imports and exports, ensuring full compliance with local regulations while minimizing delays, penalties, and additional costs.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Prepare and review all shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin).</li><li>Coordinate with government authorities (Customs, SFDA, Ports, etc.).</li><li>Manage end-to-end clearance process from shipment arrival until final release.</li><li>Ensure correct HS code classification for all shipments.</li><li>Validate customs duties, taxes, and related charges.</li><li>Liaise with customs brokers and clearance agents.</li><li>Handle shipment issues such as inspections, holds, and delays.</li><li>Monitor critical shipments and reduce clearance lead time.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and company policies.</li><li>Provide periodic reports on clearance performance (cost, lead time, issues).</li></ul><h3>Key Requirements:</h3><ul><li>+2 years of experience in customs clearance or similar role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of customs regulations and systems (e.g., FASAH, SABER in KSA).</li><li>Good understanding of Incoterms.</li><li>Experience dealing with government entities.</li><li>Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
