Job Description

Role OverviewA senior neurosurgical consultant responsible for providing advanced neurosurgical care within a leading tertiary hospital in Dubai. The role involves managing complex neurosurgical conditions, leading multidisciplinary care pathways, and contributing to the development of a high‑quality neuroscience service.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage the full spectrum of neurosurgical conditions, including tumors, trauma, spine disorders, vascular lesions, and functional neurosurgical cases.Perform complex neurosurgical procedures using modern microsurgical, endoscopic, and minimally invasive techniques.Lead multidisciplinary discussions with neurology, ICU, oncology, radiology, pain management, and rehabilitation teams.Oversee pre‑operative evaluation, surgical planning, intraoperative decision‑making, and post‑operative follow‑up.Ensure compliance with international standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and documentation.Participate in clinical governance, audits, morbidity & mortality reviews, and service improvement initiatives.Teach, mentor, and support the development of residents, fellows, and allied health professionals.Engage in research, innovation, and evidence‑based practice to enhance neurosurgical outcomes.Qualifications & RequirementsCCT / FRCS (Neurosurgery), American Board Certification, or equivalent Tier‑1 qualification.Minimum 8–10 years post‑specialty training experience in neurosurgery.Proven experience in high‑acuity tertiary or academic medical centers.Proficiency with advanced neurosurgical technologies (neuronavigation, intraoperative imaging, neuro‑monitoring).Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.Eligibility for DHA Consultant License.Preferred Subspecialty InterestsNeuro‑oncologySpine surgeryNeurovascular surgeryFunctional neurosurgeryMinimally invasive neurosurgical techniques#J-18808-Ljbffr
