Job Title: Construction Engineer (G-Category License) Location: Abu-Dhabi United Arab EmiratesPreferred Nationalities: Indian or FilipinoValid Abu Dhabi Municipality LicensedEmployment Type: ContractualExperience: 3-10years Job SummaryOur client is seeking a Construction Engineer holding a valid G-category license issued by the Abu-Dhabi Municipality (G1 G2 G3 G4 G5 G unlimited). The role covers design execution and supervision of building projects up to the height/level permitted by the engineers license. regulations. Key Responsibilities- - Project Planning & Execution Prepare and submit drawings BOQs method statements and EIAs in line with Abu Dhabi Building Codes and the specific G-license limits.- Coordinate with architects MEP consultants and contractors to stay within the approved scope. - Site Supervision Oversee daily construction activities; enforce G-license specifications quality benchmarks and safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections maintain logs and issue site directives. - Permitting & Approvals Liaise with Abu-Dhabi Municipality Civil Defense ADNOC and other authorities to secure necessary permits and G-license endorsements for all G levels. Ensure all submissions are signed and stamped by the licensed engineer. - Documentation & Reporting Keep up to date project records: daily reports progress photos variation orders and closeout files. Present status updates to senior management and clients. - Safety & Compliance Implement UAE safety regulations (OSHAD Abu Dhabi Civil Defence) and any G level specific safety requirements. Required Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university. - Valid G category license issued by Abu Dhabi Municipality (any G level: G1 G2 G3 G4 G5 Gunlimited). - Minimum 3years of UAE/Gulf construction experience; senior roles require 8years. - Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit Tekla Primavera / MSProject and structural analysis software. - Strong knowledge of AbuDhabi Building Codes municipal regulations and Glicence scope limits. - Excellent English (written & spoken); Arabic is a plus. - Ability to travel and work on multiple sites across Abu Dhabi.
