CNC Operator - Dubai

At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious partner contracting for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.Under the guidance of the CNC in charge – the CNC Operator will handle the jobs that have been assigned and deliver them to the carpentry team.Main AccountabilitiesMust have knowledge of wood CNC machines and CNC tools.Inspect material before feeding it to the machine.Able to change tools and/or make offset changes.Input instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.Verify settings by measuring positions, running samples and calibrating the machine before operation.Supervise the machines while they execute tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed correctly.Document machine jobs and report the same to the CNC in charge.Conduct preventive maintenance of the machine following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions/errors, and reporting to CNC in charge.Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.RequirementsNumber of years of experience: 1+ yearCertification: Wood working CNC Training certificateEducation: +2 (Junior College)Languages: English and HindiSystems: Basic computer knowledge, Word, ExcelTechnical & Functional SkillsAble to work on technical drawings.Must have technical knowledge and knowledge of machinery used in the CNC.Dept. (CNC machine, beam Saw Machine).Knowledge of machine tools, blades, and bits.Other Skills and CompetenciesMust be proactive and have a positive attitude.Must be flexible and ready to work as per requirement.General Obligations towards Health, Safety and EnvironmentYou will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, transport, and all equipment issued by the company.You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company.You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety and environment to others.#J-18808-Ljbffr
