S/He ensures that the platform is stable, secure and performing optimally.Main Duties And ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure and maintain the different components of the platformManage and monitor the platform's performance, troubleshoot and resolve any issue that might ariseImplement security measures to protect the platform and ensure compliance with regulationsManage and maintain the platform's storage and backup systemsManage and maintain the platform's resiliency, availability and recoveryAutomate and script platform-related tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventionManage and maintain the platform's network infrastructure and monitoring/logging systemsCollaborate with other teams and departments, such as Development and Operations, to ensure the platform meets the organization's overall goals and objectivesResearch and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve the platform's performance and scalability on a regular basisCreate and maintain documentation for installing, upgrading and testing the platformCreate and maintain documentation for the platform’s low- and high-level design and other architecture and operational related aspectsPosition Requirements4+ years of experience in Hadoop/Cloudera administrationHands-on experience with Cloudera Manager, CDH/CDP, and Hadoop ecosystem toolsExperience with Linux administration and shell scriptingStrong knowledge of monitoring, logging (e.g., Ambari, Nagios, Splunk)Familiarity with security protocols and integration (LDAP, Kerberos, TLS)Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and data pipeline issuesEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related fieldExperienceAt least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
