About the job Civil / Structural Inspector - Airport ProjectJob DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified Civil / Structural Inspector to carry out inspection and supervision of civil and structural works, including foundations, concrete structures, and infrastructure components, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction practices, materials, and codes, combined with a strong commitment to quality and safety at site.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect civil and structural works to verify compliance with approved drawings, standards, and specifications.Monitor site activities to ensure construction quality and adherence to safety regulations.Review materials and workmanship to confirm compliance with project requirements.Conduct inspections of foundations, concrete works, reinforcement placement, and formwork installation.Identify non-conformities and assist in implementing corrective actions.Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve site-related technical issues.Prepare inspection reports, maintain logs, and ensure proper documentation of site observations.Support testing and commissioning activities related to civil and structural components.Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Minimum 6 years of experience in inspection and supervision of civil/structural works in construction or infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of concrete structures, foundations, and civil engineering materials.Familiarity with international codes and standards (ACI, ASTM, BS, etc.).Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in MS Office and site inspection documentation tools.#J-18808-Ljbffr
