OverviewDevelop plans and schedules for DepartmentTrack progress against schedulesRecommend and evaluate procedures and practices to improve operational efficiency and for alternatives to enhance performance (including outsourcing services)Attend project review meetings to evaluate progress of ongoing construction or maintenance activitiesLiaise with Manager of O&M Department to understand maintenance plans and adherence to deadlines by third-party (outsourcing) ContractorsDevelop and be responsible for final review of maintenance plansLiaise with internal/external Project Manager to understand implications of their design/construction on maintenance and ongoing operationDirect and organise a master plan for O&M DepartmentDirect and organise advance maintenance management programmes for drainage infrastructureCoordinate Ashghal’s planned maintenance activities with external and internal departments and outsourced companiesMonitor and supervise the operation of installed computerized asset management system for infrastructureFinalize Budget reviews to compare with plan as well as previous year’s costsHighlight business risks to the Manager of O&M Department based on Plan and progress information, especially at critical points and milestonesQualificationsBachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized UniversityMember of a Recognised Body e.g. Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer or Equivalent Certification in Project ManagementMinimum 8 years of experience in planning/project controllingBroad experience in construction with demonstrated experience in Operations and Maintenance plans and schedules for roads and/or drainage projects (e.g., maintenance schedules for wastewater treatment plants)Experience in projects involving Government Departments and Outsourced ConsultantsFamiliar with Planning/Project control software e.g. Primavera 6, Microsoft Project Control, VisioFamiliar with corporate management plansProject Management Method/Practice or equivalentAbility to direct employees and contractors clearly and authoritatively while upholding Ashghal values and relationshipsAbility to understand information from multiple perspectives to ensure both operational and customer perspectives are considered when assessing H&S risks and implementing solutionsAbout The CompanyPSTech is a subsidiary of EMFI Group of companies currently registered to operate within the State of Qatar.PSTech brings years of experience in providing “very best” in Facility Management and Operations & Maintenance Support Services.
