Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Smart Metering Programme

The CTO will define the technical strategy and architecture for the Smart Metering Programme ensuring all systemsMeters communications services HES MDMS and IT componentsare secure scalable and interoperable. The role provides strategic oversight to technical leads across delivery streams. Acting as a senior advisor the CTO ensures technology decisions align with client objectives programme constraints and Talans innovation and quality standards.Key Responsibilities Define technical vision architecture and standards. Oversee technology roadmap and system interoperability. Ensure cybersecurity scalability and resilience across platforms. Advise leadership on technology risks and innovation. Guide all technical leads (Meters communications services HES MDMS Integration Testing).Qualifications : 15 years of experience in smart metering or large IT transformation programmes. Expertise in AMI architectures IoT and enterprise integration. Strategic leadership and vendor management experience.
