Sous Chef - Indian CuisineWe are a well-established restaurant in Ar-Ruwais seeking a talented Sous Chef with experience in Indian cuisine. As the Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high quality and consistency in all dishes. You will also be responsible for training and supervising kitchen staff, maintaining inventory and ordering supplies, and creating new menu items.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook authentic Indian dishes according to our restaurant's standardsAssist the Head Chef in creating new menu items and specialsTrain and supervise kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and food safety proceduresMonitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as neededEnsure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely mannerMaintain a clean and organized kitchen at all timesAdhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesRequirementsProven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, with expertise in Indian cuisineExcellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi is a plus)Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train othersAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of food safety regulationsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededSalary$1400/month (negotiable based on experience)If you are passionate about Indian cuisine and have the skills to lead a team of chefs, we would love to hear from you.
