We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chargehand to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a Chargehand you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating maintenance or construction activities ensuring project success through effective leadership and technical expertise.Lead and supervise maintenance or construction crews assigning tasks and monitoring progress to meet project deadlinesEnsure strict compliance with safety standards regulations and company policiesConduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards and resolve on-site issues promptlyManage and optimize the use of materials tools and equipment to enhance efficiencyMaintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on project progress to managementCollaborate with engineers project managers and clients to ensure project requirements are metMentor and train junior staff members fostering a culture of continuous improvementAnalyze and interpret technical drawings plans and project specificationsImplement and maintain quality control measures throughout project executionIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project flowQualifications : Proven experience as a Chargehand or in a similar supervisory role within the construction manufacturing or maintenance industryStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectivelyExcellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in high-pressure situationsIn-depth knowledge of safety practices technical procedures and industry regulationsProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings plans and project specificationsOutstanding communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to liaise with various stakeholdersDemonstrated expertise in project management including resource allocation and schedulingProficiency in relevant project management tools and softwareTechnical certification or diploma in a related field (preferred)Thorough understanding of quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologiesAbility to work flexible hours and adapt to changing project requirementsLocal work authorization may be requiredAdditional Information : Must have a valid Family bookRemote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
