Job TitleCAD Senior Specialist – MAF EntertainmentRole SummaryThe CAD Operator – Leisure, Entertainment & Cinemas provides accurate technical and visual documentation to support the Design Managers and Design & Development team. The role focuses on translating design concepts into production-ready CAD and 3D files, ensuring effective coordination with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. As the in-house expert in AutoCAD and 3D visualization, the CAD Operator produces detailed drawings, layouts, renders, and presentation materials while maintainingRole ProfilePrepares and maintains accurate AutoCAD drawings across all design stages, converting concepts and sketches into coordinated, standardized CAD documentation.Manages drawing libraries, CAD standards, layers, and blocks, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all deliverables.Assists in reviewing consultant and contractor shop drawings to ensure alignment with approved design intent and incorporates mark-ups efficiently.Produces high-quality 3D models, renders, visuals, and walkthroughs to support design reviews, presentations, and approvals.Supports the preparation of presentation boards, diagrams, axonometric views, and visual materials that clearly communicate design intent.Coordinates closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure functional, technical, and authority requirements are reflected in drawings.Ensures quality control by verifying dimensions, annotations, compliance with standards, and maintaining design guardianship.Stays current with emerging digital, visualization, and AI-enabled tools, contributing to continuous improvement of CAD workflows and team capabilities.Requirements5–8 years of experience in CAD drafting and 3D visualization, preferably within Leisure, Entertainment, Retail, or Cinema projects.Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), including architectural layering, Xrefs, and drawing management.Skilled in 3D modeling and rendering using tools such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Enscape, Twinmotion, or Lumion.Proven experience with detailed fit‑out drawings, joinery details, and technical coordination.Exposure to GCC projects with familiarity in mall and landlord submission processes is an advantage.What We OfferAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
