<div><p>A commercially driven relationship builder, who can manage the sales lifecycle, from prospecting to partnership growth, while acting as a trusted advisor, value architect, and strategic account leader.</p><p>The<b>Business Development Officer</b>is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing the full commercial lifecycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to relationship building, solution selling, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and ongoing client lifecycle management.</p><p>The role blends bothLead GenerationandSales / Business Development responsibilities, ensuring a seamless transition from early prospect engagement to long-term strategic partnership management.</p><h3>CORE ROLE OBJECTIVES</h3><ul><li><b>Pipeline:</b>Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.</li><li><b>Relations</b>: Develop trust-based, long-term client relationships.</li><li><b>Trustworthy Person</b>: Understand client challenges and position tailored solutions.</li><li><b>Commercial Pro</b>: Lead proposals, financial coordination, negotiation, and deal closing.</li><li><b>Inclusive Ownership</b>: Ensure accurate CRM reporting across all sales lifecycle stages.</li><li><b>Association</b>: Support onboarding&handover to delivery teams while retaining account ownership.</li></ul><h3>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><ul><li>Conduct structured market research and targeting (industry, company size, revenue)</li><li>Generate leads via direct outreach, campaigns, events, partnerships, and referrals.</li><li>Develop strategies to qualify prospects (budget, timeline, decision makers,&needs)</li><li>Enter and maintain all leads&activities in the CRM with complete accuracy</li><li>Collaborate with all functions to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads</li></ul><h3>2) Initial Outreach&Relationship Building</h3><ul><li>Conduct first contact calls and client meetings with structured agendas.</li><li>Profile and deeply understand client challenges, goals, timelines, and constraints.</li><li>Position the organization as a strategic partner — not only a service provider.</li><li>Document all interactions and client intelligence in CRM&in writing.</li></ul><h3>3) Solution Presentation&Proposal Ownership</h3><ul><li>Lead drafting of tailored technical proposals in alignment with client needs.</li><li>Coordinate with operations for financial costing and pricing.</li><li>Manage proposal reviews and internal approvals (Finance, Ops, Management).</li><li>Maintain proposal status and documentation in CRM.</li></ul><h3>4) Negotiation, Deal Closing&Contracting</h3><ul><li>Manage negotiations with clients, protect profitability,&drive deal closing.</li><li>Coordinate contract formation and legal documentation.</li><li>Update CRM / ERP stages to Won / Lost with complete justification.</li><li>Re-initiate proposal cycle when revisions are required.</li></ul><h3>5) Client Onboarding&Relationship management</h3><ul><li>Lead smooth transition from sales to delivery teams, handover deal documents to delivery (technical&financial proposal, contract, client details).</li><li>Participate in kickoff&onboarding communication.</li><li>Maintain relationship with client for cross-selling, renewals, satisfaction&follow-ups.</li><li>Act as long-term account owner and strategic advisor.</li><li>Maintain accurate forecasting and sales reporting.</li><li>Analyze client feedback&satisfaction trends.</li><li>Identify growth opportunities within accounts.</li><li>Monitor competition and market dynamics.</li><li>Continuously refine approach using data-driven insights.</li><li>Strong consultative selling capability</li><li>Relationship-oriented communication style</li><li>Business acumen and negotiation maturity</li><li>Experience with proposals&financial structuring</li><li>Structured follow-up and discipline</li><li>Excellent reporting and documentation habits</li><li>Ability to collaborate across operations, finance&leadership</li></ul><h3>Preferred Experience&Competences</h3><ul><li>Previous Business Development experience with 3+ years as in the sales field.</li><li>B.Sc. Degree in Business Administration or any other related field.</li><li>Business development / sales in agency, consulting, digital, or services sectors</li><li>Existing active network of customers within the assigned sector/region</li><li>Experience working with enterprise/government clients&vendor portals</li><li>Proven track record in closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals</li><li>Strong and diplomatic personality to handle clients and change requests.</li><li>Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
