Business Development Manager - Road Freight

OverviewWe’re looking for a Business Development Manager with solid experience in road logistics to help grow our client base and strengthen our market presence. This role is focused on identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships, and driving revenue within the land transport sector.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities within road freight and transport servicesBuild and maintain relationships with clients, including shippers, distributors, and key accountsUnderstand client requirements and propose tailored logistics solutionsWork closely with operations and pricing teams to ensure competitive and feasible proposalsManage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing dealsAchieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growthMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needsPrepare regular reports on pipeline, sales performance, and forecastsRequirementsProven experience in business development or sales within road logistics / land transportStrong understanding of trucking operations, routes, and regional logistics (UAE/GCC experience is a plus)Existing network of clients within logistics, FMCG, retail, or industrial sectors is preferredAbility to negotiate and close deals independentlyStrong communication and relationship-building skillsCommercially driven with a results‑oriented mindset#J-18808-Ljbffr
