Role & responsibilitiesA. Core DevelopmentDesign, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum, Solana, or other blockchain platforms.Build and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) integrating front-end and back-end components.Develop and manage tokenomics and blockchain-based assets, including NFTs, fungible tokens, and utility tokens.Ensure secure and efficient code to minimize vulnerabilities.B. Architecture & StrategyDesign scalable, modular, and maintainable blockchain solutions.Integrate blockchain solutions with existing systems (web apps, mobile apps, cloud services).Select appropriate blockchain protocols and tools based on project requirements.C. Security & AuditingConduct regular code reviews and security audits of smart contracts.Implement best practices for encryption, key management, and transaction validation.Stay updated on latest blockchain vulnerabilities and mitigate risks proactively.D. Collaboration & DocumentationWork closely with product, front-end, back-end, and QA teams.Prepare technical documentation and API guides for blockchain components.Mentor junior developers or peers on blockchain technologies (for mid/senior roles).E. Optional / Advanced ResponsibilitiesResearch and implement Layer 2 scaling solutions.Explore cross-chain interoperability.Develop DeFi protocols, staking systems, or NFT marketplaces.Preferred candidate profileA. Education & BackgroundBachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.Masters degree or blockchain certifications are a plus.Strong portfolio of deployed blockchain applications, smart contracts, or open-source contributions.B. Technical SkillsProgramming Languages: Solidity, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go.Frameworks & Tools: Hardhat, Truffle, Brownie, Web3.js, Ethers.js, Substrate, Anchor.Blockchain Knowledge: Smart contracts, DeFi protocols, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721), NFTs, security best practices.Database & Storage: IPFS, Arweave, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.DevOps Skills: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure).C. Experience4 to 8 years in software development, with 2+ years specifically in blockchain development.Experience in designing and deploying dApps, smart contracts, and token-based ecosystems.Familiarity with auditing smart contracts and implementing security best practices.D. Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and algorithmic thinking.Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.Ability to learn new blockchain protocols quickly.Team player with ability to mentor juniors if required.E.
