ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, espresso shots, and iced coffeesProvide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, taking orders, and making recommendationsOperate and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, ensuring they are in good working conditionFollow established recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent product qualityManage and maintain inventory of coffee and other supplies, including milk, syrups, and cupsKeep the coffee shop clean and organized, including wiping down counters, tables, and equipment, and sweeping and mopping floorsAssist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up and cleaning the shop, and securing the premisesHandle cash and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of salesAdhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environmentAttend training sessions and staff meetings as requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a coffee shop or food service environment preferredExcellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customersKnowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment preferredAbility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredFood handlers permit or willingness to obtain one#J-18808-Ljbffr
