Job Description

Job Description:Scope & General Job Purpose:To perform a wide variety of administrative duties and tasks including but not limited to the shipment and distribution of aircraft spare parts preparation of documentation timely coordination and follow up with suppliers customers and forwarders as required by the daily operations.Responsibilities:Adheres to all corporate policies guidelines and statutory requirementsHandles coordinates follows up on incoming shipmentsPlans shipments based on product availability and customer requestsDispatches Repair Orders and advises shipping details to CustomersPrepares and submits necessary documents required for clearance of inbound and outbound shipments such as for e.g. commercial invoice delivery note and delivery adviceMaintains Lists with all required details (i.e. BOE entry/ exit date) as per Dubai Customs requirementsLiaises with forwarders to ensure most timely accurate and cost efficient forwarding for all inbound and outbound shipmentsMaintains and Updates database of stocksPhysically safeguards aircraft parts (spares and piece parts) in compliance with industry / airworthiness regulations and applicable health & safety proceduresMaintains the logistic filling system to ensure the accuracy of all logistics related filesEnsures that supplies stock materials packages and/or products are processed through the warehousesystem efficiently and safelyEnsures accuracy for the data entry and inventory of all stockPerforms AOG Duty - 24/7 availability (as per given schedule)Performs other related duties as assigned by Management and/or Head of OperationsProvides back-up support to other group members in the performance of job duties as requiredKey Performance Measures:Works with the team and other department members to produce effective customer support strategies procedures and methodsContributes to the development and maintenance of standards policies and procedures regarding customer supportProfile:Experience in a similar position and aviation background would be considered as an advantageOutstanding customer service skillsExcellent working knowledge of MS Office and/or Google WorkspaceExcellent communication skills both written and oral in EnglishProcess detail and result oriented with problem solving skillsTakes initiative is proactiveAbility to work independently with a sense of accountabilityKnowledge of Dubai customs import and export procedures/ forms and documentationThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity as the foundation for the Companys success reputation and sustainable growth.Company:Airbus Africa and Middle East FZEEmployment Type:Permanent-------Experience Level:ProfessionalJob Family:LogisticsBy submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
