Associate Mechanical Engineer

Job DescriptionThe Associate Mechanical Engineer is responsible for utilizing existing Mechanical procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team, and they will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to Mechanical and Engineering.ResponsibilitiesGain an understanding of the Mechanical engineering main duties in the different stages of the projectsPerform detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on basic engineering tasksApply knowledge and skills to complete routine assignments under close supervision and mentoringPrepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and proceduresOrganize own work to meet deadlines set by othersClearly communicate information, asking questions and checking for understandingBecome familiar with all the quality and documentation systemsSpecify simple types of equipment by process and project requirements under lead engineer guidanceApply all relevant procedures, practices, and international standards according to their discipline (Static, Rotating, Package, special equipment), and applicable as per Project requirementsAssist in supplying another discipline with relevant information, as per their requirementCarry out all relevant drafting activities (e.g., Datasheet sketches, modifications drawings, etc.)Support the drawings, documents, and inspection & test procedures review from the sellers and manufacturersAssist the Mechanical Engineers and Buyers with the evaluation of the Technical and Commercial bidsApply all the relevant HSE requirements and criteria in the engineering work and decisionsReports to:Project: Lead EngineerFunctional: Supervisor/Lead Engineer or Engineering ManagerLiaise with: Engineers, Design Supervisors, and Designers of their own disciplineSupervises: NoneQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Master’s Degree is preferred)0-3 years of experience in Oil and GasPreferably Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or member of a professional engineering societyGood English in writing and speaking (B2 Level)Quality-oriented and schedule consciousGood communication skills and team player behaviorShow flexibility to assist colleagues and supervisors with increased workloadLearning the content and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicableLearning design techniques and analysis methodsAbout UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
