If you're looking to challenge your growth potential, Ooredoo is the employer for you.Job overviewMain purpose of this role is to lead M&A projects or work streams, develop and prepare business models, valuation analysis, and recommendations for the purpose of M&A transactions.Supports the full lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures.This role involves financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and integration planning.The role holder acts as an extension of the project owner, ensuring content leadership, rigorous execution, and end‑to‑end delivery across multiple workstreams.Your impact on our goalsSupports the full lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures.This role involves financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and integration planning.Works closely with Strategy, Finance, and Legal teams to assess opportunities, execute transactions, and ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.The deal size and hence decision impact for Ooredoo can vary from below 50 Million USD to multiple billion USD transactions.Transaction types can vary from JV, Carve outs buy side and sell side.Deal Sourcing & EvaluationIdentify and evaluate potential acquisition or divestment opportunities aligned with strategic priorities.Conduct market, competitor, and sector research to support deal origination.Maintain relationships with investment banks, advisors, and industry contacts.Financial Analysis & ValuationDevelop detailed financial models to assess valuation, synergies, and returns (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies, , etc.).Build and Support scenario analyses, sensitivities, and value creation modeling.Prepare and review investment cases and presentations for senior management and board approval.Coordinate internal and external due diligence (financial, legal, tax, commercial, operational).Collaborate with advisors, consultants, and internal experts to identify and mitigate risks.Assist in drafting term sheets, letters of intent, and transaction documentation.Provide commercial input for SPA.Support negotiation of key deal terms and closing conditions.Integration & Post-Deal SupportWork with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth post-merger integration.Track performance of acquired entities against the business case and synergy targets.Support divestment or restructuring.Manage specific M&A transactions or work streams in M&A transactions.Executive Communication & Stakeholder EngagementPrepare executive-level presentations, Board papers, and investor communications related to strategic projects.Communicate complex strategic topics succinctly to senior executives, shareholders, and external partners.Represent the department in cross-organizational discussions with senior management and external stakeholders.Key member of M&A team and will be involved with the Board approval process. Supports the overall recommendation to Group Management Committee, the Investment Sub Committee, the Executive Committee and the Board on business development opportunities.Responsible for the business planning element of Ooredoo's business development projects. These are high intensity and extremely complex processes working to compressed time frames in a competitive environment with clear performance outcomes.ExperienceExperience15 years' experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Experience in multiple M&A or transaction related projects in the past with experience and knowledge of valuations, deal financial structuring and supporting price negotiations.Business planning experience and knowledge critical with strong foundation in valuation techniques including DCF, comparable based models, private vs. public valuations, IPOs and private equity analyses.Deep expertise in business valuation for public and private business.Strong knowledge of telecom market developments, financials and industry trends including wireless technologies, wireline technologies and infrastructure assets.Able to synthesize business modelling and telecom industry know
