Job Description

This role will support the financial accounting activities for multiple legal entities across the EMEA region, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strong internal controls. Based in Dubai, the Associate Accounting Manager will play a key part in month‑end closing, tax compliance, financial analysis, and office administration oversight.Client DetailsOur client is a global provider of products and solutions within the hospitality and services sector, supplying customers across international markets. The organisation operates in a fast‑paced, commercially driven environment and is part of a larger multinational group known for strong operational standards and continuous growth.DescriptionManage month‑end close activities including accruals, payroll entries, journals and provisionsOversee entity close processes across local accounting systems and US reporting platformsMaintain the nominal ledger and prepare accurate balance sheet reconciliationsMonitor daily sales performance and maintain associated reporting and master dataLead margin analysis on a weekly basis and support forecast submissionsDeliver variance analysis with clear management commentaryReview, reconcile and resolve intercompany balances for all assigned entitiesManage royalty and rebate accrual processesUpdate exchange rates and monitor exposure to foreign currency riskAct as the key point of contact for external auditors in the UAE and UKEnsure compliance with internal controls and segregation of duties requirementsPrepare and submit UAE VAT returns and assist with other indirect tax requirementsCoordinate UAE corporate tax filings, documentation and compliance with ESR regulationsSupport annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting cyclesBuild financial models that support strategic and operational decision makingIdentify and implement improvements to processes, systems and automationPartner with commercial and operational teams by providing financial insight and supportOversee HR administrative processes including onboarding documentation and complianceManage Dubai office administrative functions including vendor coordination and utilitiesProfileDegree in Accounting, Finance or BusinessProfessional accounting board membership preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in an accounting environmentAt least 2 years' experience handling office administration responsibilitiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong capability in other MS Office toolsExperience with ERP or BI systems is an advantageAbility to work independently in a fast paced, multitasking environmentExcellent communication skills and strong attention to detailCandidates must be based in the UAEJob OfferOpportunity to work with a global organisation with strong market presenceExposure to regional and international financial operationsDynamic environment with opportunities to contribute to process improvementsCross functional collaboration across finance, sales and operationsA role that blends operational responsibility with strategic financial inputStable environment with long‑term career development opportunities.SkillsAccounting transaction, monthly closing, financial reporting, working with auditors, covering multiple entities#J-18808-Ljbffr
