A commitment to service excellence and investment in our people has led to continued growth where our teammates deliver best-in-class solutions to clients worldwide alongside our colleagues in legal services.The Assistant Vice President (“AVP”) within the Dubai Fiduciary team report to the Regional Head ofFiduciary are responsible for undertakinga high number of new business/transactions, whether fiduciary or administrative in nature.Your primary responsibilities include:Client Work and Client ServiceBeing the assigned administrator responsible for a portfolio of clients;Responsible for preparing management accounts or financial statements from available source documents;Correspond with the clients about source documents and other details required for preparing the management accounts or the financial statements;Liaise with auditors, lawyers, investment managers or other parties related to the company when required to prepare the reports;Assist with Audit of financial statements;Assist clients for filing FATCA/CRS, ESR and CIT;reviewing transaction documents, providing written comments to parties as appropriate or attending conference calls as required;liaising with arrangers, investment managers, lawyers and other relevant parties concerning the setting up of new business as well as acting as a primary point of contact for ongoing issue resolution;ensuring files are compliant with MaplesFS procedures and policies;ensuring all relevant MaplesFS databases are completed and maintained with accurate information in relation to assigned portfolio of clients;ensuring all annual administration in respect of a client is completed in accordance with the MaplesFS policies and procedures and in a timely manner;developing effective working relations with assigned portfolio of clients and responding promptly and professionally to client requests;assessing and advising clients of compliance requirements and obtaining necessary documentation prior to commencing work and in accordance with all internal procedures.Billing and Receivablesensuring invoices are raised and disseminated to clients in a timely manner and in accordancewith administration agreements; andconsistently monitoring and minimising receivables, ensuring that no balances over 90 days exist without reason agreed to by.acting in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal risk management requirements, including complying with policies and procedures.Business Developmentmaintaining active contact with a targeted network in order to create market opportunities;helping to win new clients to meet the firm’s growth, revenue and cross selling.What YouBringIn addition to a commitment to delivering superior candidate and stakeholder experiences:Significant similar experience ideally gained in financial services, audit or any other similar business;Strong leadership skills;Qualification in accountancy, finance or related course;Exercise professional discretion and observing client.Benefits & RewardsThe most enduring professional relationships are reciprocal Maples Group prioritises employee health and wellbeing.
