Assistant PM – Network Implementation

Lead end-to-end implementation of 2G/4G/5G mobile network rollout projects from site readiness to final handover to Operations.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with approved plans, quality standards, and safety requirements.Coordinate closely with civil, telecom, and backhaul teams to align site readiness, implementation, and integration activities.Manage internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners, to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution.Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation actions.Ensure sites are prepared for testing, acceptance, and successful operational handover.Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and governance in line with project management frameworks.Support reliable, scalable, and high-quality mobile network deployment aligned with business objectives.Job Description & Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end execution of 2G/4G/5G mobile network implementation projects from planning through operational handover.Ensure site readiness by coordinating civil works, telecom installation, and backhaul activities across all vendors.Manage and control project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in line with approved plans.Own and drive OLO and RFI processes to ensure timely submissions, approvals, and site delivery.Conduct daily coordination with civil, telecom, and backhaul vendor project managers to track progress and resolve issues.Identify project risks and dependencies early, implementing effective mitigation and corrective actions.Ensure all Method of Procedure (MOP) and implementation documents are prepared, reviewed, and approved prior to execution.Monitor and enforce compliance with quality standards, technical requirements, and HSE policies.Ensure timely and accurate updates of project systems, dashboards, and reporting tools.Coordinate closely with Operations teams to address implementation constraints and readiness requirements.Oversee testing activities and ensure sites are fully prepared for acceptance and service readiness.Manage PAT processes and ensure successful handover of completed sites to Operations and O&M teams.Act as the primary interface with internal stakeholders and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.Drive effective communication, escalation management, and stakeholder alignment.Support continuous improvement by applying lessons learned and best practices across network rollout projects.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Minimum 7+ years of experience in mobile network rollout or network implementation project management.Strong hands-on experience in 2G/4G/5G radio network implementation and site rollout activities.Proven expertise in coordinating civil works, RFI processes, telecom installation, and backhaul readiness.Demonstrated experience managing multiple vendors, subcontractors, and TowerCo partners.Solid understanding of site acceptance, testing, and handover processes to Operations and O&M teams.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and reporting frameworks.PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred and considered an advantage.Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage.Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, multi-project telecom environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
