They guide how we work with each other and how we deliver impact that is 1,000x stronger — for our clients and communities alike.The OpportunityAs a Principal Solution Architect - Salesforce, you'll act as the technical seller and trusted advisor in strategic enterprise engagements across Salesforce's ecosystem — including Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, and Data Clouds.You’ll partner closely with Horizontal's sales and delivery teams to lead pre-sales, define cross-cloud architectures, and translate business objectives into scalable Salesforce solutions that drive measurable outcomes.You’ll balance 50% sales and strategy with 50% technical delivery oversight, owning and co‑ordinating the full solution lifecycle from pre‑sale to client success.What You’ll DoLead solution design during new business pursuits, working hand‑in‑hand with Sales to shape deals and position Horizontal as the preferred Salesforce partnerTranslate complex business challenges into cross‑cloud Salesforce solutions (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data, Analytics, and Industry Clouds)Conduct discovery and architecture workshops with C‑level and senior stakeholders, identifying transformation opportunities and value realization pathsCraft technical solution narratives and visual architectures for RFPs and client presentationsClearly articulate Horizontal Digital’s Salesforce capabilities, offerings, and differentiators through demos, proposals, and proof‑of‑conceptsSupport go‑to‑market (GTM) campaigns and practice growth through thought leadership and enablement on emerging Salesforce technologiesServe as a bridge between pre‑sales and delivery, ensuring the proposed architecture is achievable, scalable, and outcome‑drivenCollaborate with Technical Architects, Data Architects, and Integration teams to align solution components and reduce riskGuide clients through best practices, balancing innovation with operational stabilityWhat You Bring7+ years of client‑facing consulting and/or pre‑sales experience in the Salesforce ecosystemProven track record in solutioning and selling multi‑cloud Salesforce transformations (Marketing Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM Analytics, etc.)Strong business acumen with the ability to engage C‑level executives in outcome‑driven discussionsSalesforce certifications across Sales, Service, or Marketing Cloud (Consultant or Architect level preferred)Strong communication skills — capable of simplifying technical complexity and telling compelling solution storiesEntrepreneurial mindset — proactive, adaptable, and energized by fast‑paced, high‑impact client workBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceWhat Defines SuccessYou influence enterprise decisions through solution‑led sellingYou architect with intent — ensuring every solution drives client growth and measurable ROIYou elevate Horizontal’s reputation as a Salesforce innovation partner through thought leadership and collaborationYou help clients become confident owners of their Salesforce ecosystem through clear documentation, enablement, and governanceSeniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionOtherIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting#J-18808-Ljbffr
