Job Description

Main AccountabilitiesIncrease revenue from transactional clients by actively approaching and selling Veolia standard products and services.Proactively identify and sell Veolia products and services to customers in accordance with company policy and manage the entire sales cycle for transactional clients.Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to the assigned portfolio.Oversee customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profit and positive customer experience.Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships to retain clients and grow revenue and profitability in the assigned portfolio.Identify and approach potential new clients from the medium and large segment.Manage the entire life cycle of the customers in the assigned portfolio.Ensure timely and successful delivery of Veolia solutions according to customer needs and objectives.Forecast and track account metrics (e.g., annual forecasts, quarterly sales reports).Manage all customer‑related information through Veolia CRM systems (Salesforce).Establish a deep understanding of the assigned portfolio and individual customers’ opportunities, buying behaviour, decision‑making patterns.Gather market intelligence for effective decision making.Maintain the sales pipeline with regular updates, ensuring 100% accuracy for effective forecasting.Create vendor registration details (new customers).Authorities will be discussed during the initial induction process with the HOD and communicated as per organisational standards and policies.Job Objectives & Key Performance IndicatorsRetain revenue & clients as per the targets set by Veolia.Generate additional revenue from existing clients through upselling & cross‑selling as per set targets.Generate new revenue from new clients as per Veolia set targets.Manage the profit margin on the assigned clients as per Veolia targets.Manage the DSO (Day Sales Outstanding) for the assigned portfolio.Other Mandatory RequirementsEnsure that reporting is performed promptly and accurately.Organise soft & hard files with a focus on digitalisation.Update reports within the specified time.Produce requested reports when required by the Line Manager.Ensure all tasks are updated and recorded using the digital tools for reporting.Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.Maximum flexibility due to the nature of work and work environment.Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.Excellent interpersonal and conflict‑handling skills.Advanced proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office and related apps.Must be proficient in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel.Must have extensive knowledge and experience with CRMs.Understand, implement and follow the QHSE policy.Report any HSE incident immediately as per VESE HSE procedures.Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures onsite.QualificationsHold a relevant educational qualification from a well‑recognised and reputable academic institution fit for the required job function.Minimum 2 years of Sales & Account Management experience in UAE, preferably in waste management or related sectors.Technical SkillsExcellent planning and organising skills.Excellent workload and time management.Excellent report‑writing skills with attention to detail, accuracy and good use of English and technical terminology.Able to create new reports and tools for use by employees and management.Language SkillsA good command of written and spoken English is a must.Good command of Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is an advantage.Interpersonal SkillsExcellent analytical and reporting skills.UAE valid light vehicle driving license is a must.Innovative and continuous improvement mindset.Effective problem identification, problem‑solving and improvement implementation.Exemplary communication ability to think strategically, make effective decisions, plan and prioritise a substantial workload, exhibit analytical capabilities, multicultural communication skills and team integrity with a strong work ethic built on teamwork.
