Assistant Manager – Finance & OperationsLocation: Dubai, UAEAbout the companyWe are a UAE-based business associated with one of India’s leading business houses, operating across investment-related activities and consumer/e-commerce initiatives. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and hands-on finance and operations professional who can support the company across accounting, compliance coordination, banking operations, internal reporting, and selected business operations tasks.Role summaryThis is a cross-functional role for a qualified Chartered Accountant or finance professional with strong grounding in Indian and UAE accounting practices, comfort with operational execution, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a person who is equally comfortable with numbers, documentation, follow-ups, and getting day-to-day business tasks closed properly.Key responsibilities1. Accounting and financeMaintain books of account and ensure accurate recording of financial transactionsManage accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and monthly closing processesCoordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors where requiredPrepare MIS, financial summaries, and supporting schedules for management reviewSupport budgeting, expense tracking, and cash-flow visibilityEnsure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and related finance documentation requirements2. Banking and treasury operationsManage routine banking activities, payments, transfers, account documentation, and follow-ups with banksCoordinate for account opening, KYC updates, banking resolutions, and related documentationTrack payment status, maintain banking records, and support treasury hygiene across entities3. Corporate compliance / company secretarial coordinationCoordinate with external PROs, legal advisors, company formation agents, and government service providersSupport renewals, licenses, resolutions, shareholder/board documentation, UBO/KYC submissions, and corporate recordsEnsure key compliance calendars and statutory deadlines are tracked and metMaintain organized records for all legal, regulatory, and corporate documents4. Deal flow / internal coordinationCoordinate with potential business partners, service providers, and other counterpartiesGather required details, prepare summaries, and share relevant information with the India-based investment / management teamFollow up on pending items and ensure timely closure of action pointsDraft basic emails, notes, trackers, and internal updates in clear professional English5. Business operations supportSupport basic operational tasks for the company’s e-commerce / consumer business as neededCoordinate product listings, order tracking, vendor follow-ups, and marketplace/website related executionMaintain operational trackers and support smooth day-to-day execution across business functionsSkillsChartered Accountant preferred; candidates with strong accounting qualifications and relevant UAE experience may also be consideredPreferably trained in India, with practical understanding of both Indian and UAE finance/compliance environments4–8 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, compliance coordination, or business operationsPrior UAE experience strongly preferredGood understanding of UAE banking processes, VAT/compliance basics, and entity-level documentation workflowsStrong command of English, both written and spokenComfortable working in a lean environment with a hands-on approachStrong Excel / Google Sheets skills; familiarity with accounting systems and basic operational tools preferredHigh ownership, follow-through, and attention to detailWe are looking for someone who isenergetic and proactivehighly dependabledetail-oriented without becoming bureaucraticcomfortable with ambiguity and small-team environmentsable to communicate confidently with internal teams, banks, advisors, and partnerswilling to take end-to-end responsibility rather than operate narrowly within a job box#J-18808-Ljbffr
