Candidates should hold a doctorate in Political Science or International Relations at the time of appointment and be prepared to teach undergraduate and graduate courses on International Relations, Comparative Political Systems, Foreign relations of the UAE.. etc.The Department of International Affairs and Social Sciences is part of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences which offers an undergraduate program in International Affairs, with three concentrations in International Relations, Middle East and Gulf Studies, and Political Economy and Development. The program of International Affairs takes a broad, multidisciplinary approach to the study of Anthropology, History, Sociology, Humanities, and Political Science at the local, regional, and international levels.
