Join us.Job DescriptionWe're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Architect Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, design specifications, and quality standards. You will serve as a critical quality control function, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions to maintain project integrity and safety standards.Conduct thorough inspections of architectural elements, structural components, and construction work at various project stagesVerify compliance with approved architectural drawings, building codes, and Saudi Arabian construction regulationsDocument inspection findings through detailed reports, photographs, and technical notesAnalyze construction quality and identify deviations from specifications or standardsCommunicate inspection results and recommendations to project managers, contractors, and stakeholdersCollaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve identified issuesMaintain organized records of all inspection activities and maintain inspection schedulesPerform site assessments and evaluate material quality, workmanship, and installation proceduresPrepare comprehensive inspection reports with findings, observations, and recommendations for corrective actionStay current with evolving building codes, architectural standards, and industry best practicesQualificationsEngineering degree in Architectural.10 years of experience or more in architectural inspection, quality assurance, or construction site oversightStrong knowledge of building codes, architectural standards, and construction methodologiesProficiency in analyzing technical drawings and architectural specificationsExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to organize and prioritize multiple inspection tasks effectivelyStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProficiency with digital inspection tools and documentation softwareExperience with CAD software or building information modeling (BIM) tools (preferred)Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building regulations and local construction standardsProfessional inspection certification or relevant industry credentials (preferred)Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamProblem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical judgmentsAdditional InformationAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
