This employee sets work methods and communicates with suppliers, district employees and occasionally, with county and state agencies.Applicants must possess the following qualifications:Ability to establish and maintain required purchasing records and financial records associated with purchasing.Ability to make appropriate decisions in conformance with established policies and procedures.Demonstrates competence in the use of computer programs such as Systems 3000, Google Docs and Excel.A working knowledge of state laws and regulations pertaining to school purchasing procedures.Demonstrates organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to plan, develop, implement and keep current an effective and efficient financial program for the district.Ability to express ideas effectively in oral or written form.This is a 12-month position that offers a pleasant work environment, vacation and holiday schedule and health/dental package.
