As part of our digital growth vision, we are integrating Artificial Intelligence to enhance design efficiency, documentation accuracy, and multidisciplinary collaboration.Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and technically skilled AI & Digital Transformation Specialist to support ICON’s AI adoption and workflow enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines a strong IT/AI background with the ability to understand design and engineering workflows, and translate them into AI‑driven solutions, automations, and tools that elevate productivity across the organisation.This is a mid‑level role reporting to the Managing Director and collaborating closely with the Sector Heads, BIM, MIS, and IT teams.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAI Integration for Design & EngineeringAnalyse ICON’s design activities and workflows documentation.Develop and deploy AI tools to support:Concept design intelligenceCAD/BIM efficiency enhancementAutomated document generation (reports, specs, schedules)BOQ support and data extractionDrawing/report QA/QCBuild intuitive AI assistants tailored to the needs of design and technical teams.Digital Transformation & Workflow AutomationIdentify automation opportunities across design, engineering, QS, and project workflows.Build workflow engines, scripts, and AI‑enabled tools that reduce manual workload.Integrate AI solutions with SharePoint, ERP system, BIM tools, and internal platforms using APIs where needed.Cross‑Functional CollaborationWork with the BIM Manager on CAD/BIM‑related AI tools, plugins, or automation workflows.Coordinate with the MIS Manager on SharePoint, ERP automations, and internal approval workflow enhancements.Liaise with the IT Manager for secure deployment, system permissions, and hardware requirements.Testing, Implementation & Internal TrainingTest AI outputs for accuracy, reliability, and compliance with ICON standards.Document all developed tools and workflows.Train designers, engineers, and support teams on newly implemented AI capabilities.Continually monitor emerging AI technologies relevant to the AEC industry.Job RequirementsRequired Candidate Profile:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.Proficiency in:Scripting languagesLarge Language Models (LLM) development and integrationAPIs, automation frameworks, and cloud platformsExposure to AEC industry workflows (architecture, engineering, landscape, or BIM) is highly preferred.Familiarity with CAD/BIM ecosystems (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) is an advantage.Strong problem‑solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to translate operational needs into practical solutions.Preferred Skills and AttributesUnderstanding of digital and design workflowsAbility to interpret user requirements and develop tailored AI toolsInnovation‑oriented and proactiveClear documentation and internal communicationCross‑functional collaborationHigh attention to quality and consistency#J-18808-Ljbffr
